Well for starters since when did minors get equal rights in their parents homes?  America's laws enforce a parents legal responsibility for the welfare of the child.  And a boy who can't go to sleep because of his computer addiction is heading towards crisis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The double jeopardy is that the particular game Grand Theft Auto, is based on illegal activity including theft, mass murder, prostitution and rape.  Mom's first mistake was allowing her minor son unlimited access to a computer, regardless how he got it.  The second is allowing him to keep any material deemed threatening in her home regardless if it's in his room.  It should have hit the garbage can on Day 1.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most likely Mom called the police because her son's behavior was now threatening her.  When our children feed on violence, we can't be surprised when they act that violence out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recently I read a documentation on two girls from India raised by wolves, who walked and ran on all fours, ate, drank and snarled as wolves.  Their entire behavior had become wolf-like since they were the only role models these children had.  It took years to adapt to the most basic human social skills on the lowest level, up to their time of death. &lt;a href="http://www.feralchildren.com/en/pager.php?df=singh"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;http://www.feralchildren.com/en/pager.php?df=singh&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The point in this social phenomena is that children learn the necessary behavioral skills early which sets them for life.  And whatever they are exposed to for long periods, is what determines their patterns for growth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If parents keep their heads in the sand refusing to see evil for what it is, because they themselves are conditioned to trust the entertainment and marketing industries; they willfully set their families up for a lifetime of pain, dysfunction and possible jail time, destroying the future benefits of a healthy and safe family life with their children and grandchildren.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are what we eat! The Bible says "Train a child in the way he should go and he'll never depart from it".   American parents may have become unwilling accomplices to the criminal behaviors of their own children because they're too afraid to do the right thing even though it may be hard at the time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's every parents responsibility to make sure our children are safe even if it means searching their rooms, begin this when they are very young.   If something worries you, most likely there is a reason.  Discuss things with your child, be understanding.  Let them know your concern and why you need to take it away.  Always tell them you love them, and your goal is to protect them.   If the items are questionable,  remove it but get advice from other parents who have well adjusted children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Support groups for parents are always good, and the best places to find these are at a local church with childrens programs where they can learn how to value others together.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many predators in the world today,  and in many forms.  Parents need to be as diligent as hens surrounded by a world of wolfs. Rather than  the believe in a 150 year old unproven theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Certainly much debate has gone on about this topic especially after our good friends at the ACLU pushed for the Scopes Monkey Trials in 1925.  This led to allowing American schools to teach Darwin's theory along with every public school's mandated biblical curriculum.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My, my, my, how things have changed.  Less than 100 years have gone by and today the  oldest book on earth, the Bible, which was originally our Nations  most valued  school text book  is not even allowed to be mentioned even for  historical or literary value.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But my main point here, is that Mr. Maher's  opinion of stupidity seems like an oxymoron and here is why:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am one of the over  60% of those in the Creation category, who like many others have a personal relationship with my Creator. This is a good time to regroup, get our ducks lined up and prepare to weather out the coming storm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The American people may of headed toward a greater change than we even realize through the last election cycle. In spite of how things seem we are evolving and changing for the better. From sleepy and star stunned, a generation drunk in spoon fed media blitz, we are once again beginning to use our brains and actually think.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The biggest sign of this, for once the majority of us agree that killing babies inside and outside of the womb is not only cruel but also sheer stupidity. After killing 50 million of our citizens we now live with an influx of foreigners, many of them uninvited. Unlike citizens who would have joined our armies to defend us and paid into our tax, healthcare and Social Security systems, foreigners have sent US dollars home to take care of their families to defend their properties and countries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Many of those who write our modern laws, still believe that population control of killing our weakest is neccessary to save a dime today. But they failed to see the bigger picture forty years ago and still today. And that has always been that children are a nations greatest assett, not a liability. In trying to control America's birth rate to avoid becoming a third world nation, we've imported the third world to America. But ironically it may be the Latino community who will be our rescuers despite our great national sin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our law makers also fail to understand that children aren't the cause of starvation. We the people still haven't gotten answers on why Gasoline more than doubled for just a few months before the elections and then went back down, but not before thousands of businesses were destroyed, escalating the fast forward spiralling down of our economy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On another note, President &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Obama's&lt;/span&gt; first act as President last month was to reverse the Mexico City Policy that banned US Federal funding to be used on overseas Abortions. So now with money in hand our Congress can send a helping hand to our over the border &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;neighbors&lt;/span&gt; to kill their babies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A provision in the Stimulus Package is to increase Euthanasia in the US targeting our elders, by following Adolf Hitler's footsteps, but in the name of "Compassion" like having your old dog put down. Since our elders have already paid their dues and pay minimal taxes, Euthanasia makes economic sense. However, this is extremely dangerous ground and will back fire on the American people who want to snuff out dear old Mom and Dad, because God's fifth Commandment says "Honor your father and mother, so you will have long life". Exodus 20.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Can we continue to say we believe in God, and worship Jesus His son, but continually break His most fundamental commandments having murdered 50 million young, by claiming them non-human and now our old, telling ourselves it's because we are compassionate? Can we stand before God on judgment day and say we didn't know? The Laws of Nature prove &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;consistent&lt;/span&gt; that "We Reap what we Sow" as individuals and as a nation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When we look at Mexico's violent drug wars right now, perhaps there is a correlation to it's escalation at the same time the Mexican government has for the first time decriminalized Abortion (how convenient that America has pledged the funding).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We may not believe the spiritual connection, but again God says, Choose Life, so that you and your children will live. &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;Deuteronomy&lt;/span&gt; 30:19. One year just before the brand new cars came out, when excitement was high, the Truckers Union refused to deliver them to the dealers until they got more money and benefits. They got everything they wanted and other Unions lined up behind them. The time delay hurt hundreds of thousands of businesses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It doesn't surprise me that they're operating in the red when car sales are down. Foreign cars don't have the accumulated years wage, benefits and retirement back pay that the Big 3 have been straddled with. So I don't see how they’ll get out of this mess with any kind of Bail Out or Loan, with Union Monkeys on their back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Maybe if they do file Bankruptcy, they could renegotiate those wage and retirement packages, including their CEO’s, to be more in line with today’s economy. Otherwise the workers may lose it all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After witnessing Union techniques similar to the Mafia who founded them; fear, manipulation and crisis, it’s possible that Union Lobbyists are the force behind the Bailouts. Another good example is California’s overbloated State Workers Unions, who’ve become the real power behind Government.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I may not be as well off as others, but I chose early in life never to serve a Union because I couldn't stomach the fact that people could get a raise walking out of their jobs with threats. We have State and Federal Labor laws to protect workers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unions don't seem to allow the flexibility for the ebb and flow of economies and it may be overtime to get rid of them or at least lessen their grip, especially politically. Even former Governor Spitzer Elliot's call girl said prostitution was like hooking up during a date, but getting your rent paid.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Biologically, emotionally and financially, women share a much greater burden in sexual hookups, and that's why marriage contracts were created. The majority of todays poor are single mothers and their fatherless children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Women get smart, you can't buy a property without a contract, how much more is your body and life worth than a piece of land?  If your guy won't make a legal and spiritual commitment to God that he'll take care of his family BEFORE planting his seeds, he's a squatter who doesn't have you or your childrens future at heart. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To become a strong America, we need women to realize their value and go back to saying "NO" to a man's selfish advances. Governor Huckabee always says that he’s a Conservative but not angry about it, so I’ll take a lesson from him. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;The top of the list for me has been the babies that have died and will continue to do so, especially if Senator Obama does what he said he would do and reverse Pro-Life decisions including the barbaric Partial Birth Abortion Act.  For the children’s sake and his sake when he stands before his Maker, I certainly hope and pray he will not carry out that order for wholesale slaughter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;While people danced on the streets believing they’d won perceived rights, I wept for their future children whose civil rights are daily being snuffed out.  But I have to admit that anger overwhelmed me and this morning I began reading the Sermon on the Mount, and Jesus said pray for your enemies and forgive them, so I was able to do that and gained peace. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;However, I will continue to be a sounding gong and a clamoring cymbal like many of you, to the real "Least of These" that Senator Obama kept talking about, but hasn’t been able to see.  I remember the days I also didn't see, and my prayer is that the Lord will open his eyes to their precious little faces. If we only stopped funding population control organizations like PP and used the money to set up classes and support for real Family Planning to keep parents together, and Safe Houses, training and child care for single working mothers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;I raised 4 children who are my reward here on earth and I know every child is a wanted child, if only America would again see that a Human life is the most valuable investment we have.  Certainly, out of the almost 50 million Americans we’ve destroyed, many would be Pastors, Politicians, Doctors, Scientists, Soldiers, Policeman, Fireman, Gardeners, Builders, Writers, Artists, Service Workers, etc.  Perhaps if they hadn't died, several may have already found cures for Cancer and other diseases.  Perhaps a few were destined to be future Presidents and Governors, bringing about compassionate change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;I'll wrap this up by saying that I was blaming men like Ted Kennedy and Barack Obama, for their hearts bent on killing children.  But after looking at this more objectively, I realize that God always gives us according to our choices, and on Tuesday the majority of America chose to place her children on the Altar of Sacrifice in exchange for a man’s promises.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;With that said, I am grateful for the fact that I know there is a God, and in the end of man’s rule, the Bible says God will wipe away every tear from those who choose to love Him and overcome sin, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things will pass away. We risk committing the same errors that prolonged the misery of the Great Depression, namely keeping prices from falling.  Instead of allowing overvalued financial assets to take a hit and trade on the market at a more realistic value, the government seeks to purchase overvalued or worthless assets and hold them in the unrealistic hope that at some point in the next few decades, someone might be willing to purchase them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the perverse effects of this bailout proposal is that the worst-performing firms, and those who interjected themselves most deeply into mortgage-backed securities, credit default swaps, and special investment vehicles will be those who benefit the most from this bailout.  As with the bailout of airlines in the aftermath of 9/11, those businesses who were the least efficient, least productive, and least concerned with serving consumers are those who will be rewarded for their mismanagement with a government handout, rather than the failure of their company that is proper to the market.  This creates a dangerous moral hazard, as the precedent of bailing out reckless lending will lead to even more reckless lending and irresponsible behavior on the part of financial firms in the future. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This bailout is a slipshod proposal, slapped together haphazardly and forced on an unwilling Congress with the threat that not passing it will lead to the collapse of the financial system.  Some of the proposed alternatives are no better, for instance those which propose a government equity share in bailed-out companies.  That we have come to a point where outright purchases of private sector companies is not only proposed but accepted by many who claim to be defenders of free markets bodes ill for the future of American society. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As with many other government proposals, the opportunity cost of this bailout goes unmentioned.  $700 billion tied up in illiquid assets is $700 billion that is not put to productive use.  That amount of money in the private sector could be used to research new technologies, start small business that create thousands of jobs, or upgrade vital infrastructure.  Instead, that money will be siphoned off into unproductive assets which may burden the government for years to come.  The great French economist Frederic Bastiat is famous for explaining the difference between what is seen and what is unseen.  In this case the bailout's proponents see the alleged benefits, while they fail to see the jobs, businesses, and technologies not created due to this utter waste of money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The housing bubble has burst, unemployment is on the rise, and the dollar weakens every day. I had never listened to the show before. The Gov has a gift of presenting view points with an air of ease, it was a really good program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then this evening I listened in on the Michael Savage Show talking about today being a new Black Monday and few are paying attention as We The People are losing the economy. We're bombarded with junk news while going through a financial Tsunami from 9/11 to 9/15. In 2004 investment bankers were allowed to pull out all the stops with very little regulation and plunder the hard working American people through bad loans.&lt;br /&gt;His question is who is responsible and shouldn’t they be punished?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To listen live &lt;a href="http://michaelsavage.wnd.com/"&gt;http://michaelsavage.wnd.com/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's very informative, causing us to think deeper. We are in dire times. Alan Greenspan the man who's been holding our economy together for many years, said "U.S. in 'once-in-a-century' financial crisis". The last century was the Great Depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For those of us who know God, we can certainly understand Him pulling away His hand of blessings, as our Nation as a whole has told Him to stay out of our public affairs. I suppose now that we've lost much and are ruled by tyrannical laws, we'll cry out to God like the backslidden people of Israel in the Bible, and that is a bright light in this Black cloud, because God always sent deliverance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then the NY Post reported a piece of good news, that many NY Democratic women are throwing their vote to John McCain. As a woman, if I were a Democrat I would also heed Senator Obama's arrogance to spare him the phony outrage along with my vote. The unapologetic perceived offending lipstick comment cost him more than he realizes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And I'm so glad Democratic women are looking at the Palin Family and seeing their success with quality careers and they get to keep their many children too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For women it's even more important that we fight to keep America's Christian heritage and fight for the life of our children, born or pre-born. Because the Bible says God hears the blood crying from the land, as He told Cain when he killed his innocent brother Abel.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And if we as women and the men who love us, don't turn around but continue to rebuke God and His laws we will not have anymore laws to protect us. Just as America's mother nation, Great Britain, is now allowing Sharia Law Courts, which have the legal right to punish women for extreme offenses such as being alone in the company of an unrelated male.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It looks like this may be the deciding year that women will have a real Choice in how we're going to clean up our act. Obviously there is a much deeper divide and it has offended many. When others offended Obama supporters, they immediately apologized and put the issue to rest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Senator Obama has immediately shifted the blame to the McCain team, saying "spare me the phony outrage", adding fuel to the fire. Many women have faced years of discrimination and abuse in all areas of life, even more so than racial prejudice. Intimidation, emotional, physical, and financial abuse is rampant and thousands of American women still die at the hands of men every year. Single mothers still make up the bulk of families in poverty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sarah Palin represents a new era for women, the same as Barack Obama represents a new era for the African American people and minority races. Both these issues have been very sensitive because they’re new for us and hidden wounds have been coming to the surface.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These blowouts are probably what our nation needs to deal with the root issues of our problems which has been our lack of understanding and respect for one another. A house divided cannot stand, no matter what great ideas either party comes up with, the other party will do it’s best to sabotage them as we can see in our governments stalemate year after year.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is Obama’s first test in Presidential diplomacy and he hasn’t handled it well. An apology for a perceived offense would have been so easy. But pride comes before a fall, and already he’s sliding in the polls and a lot of the slide is female votes. Let’s hope the McCain/Palin Team will learn from Gov. Something McCain has not been able to talk about himself. I'm so glad I heard that, because my own father was a POW during WWII, also in the Pacific, and other members of my family were as well. And he was never able to talk about it much. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was deeply moved by the story of Senator McCain as a true American Hero and all he went through. After being so grieved listening to John Kerry's testimonies about our men being killers and cowards.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today we got to hear about a Vietnam hero, bringing long overdue honor to all those who served, suffered and died there. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The whole theme of "Service, putting others first" was amazing, there has never been a Convention quite like this one and should shift the country to do what's right, that Mike Huckabee has been speaking out on from the beginning. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It seems like God keeps bringing out all sorts of truths for old wounds to be healed in our Nation. Mike Huckabee's time will come, it just isn't yet as President. It may be that where our country is headed we need a strong military leader who won't back down, nomatter what the personal cost. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I see why the Gov. shows such great respect for incoming President John McCain. Listening to the stories told by Fred Thompson and the others has really humbled me. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;God bless Senator McCain and all who serve our country. In the past few weeks, some of the shine and glitter has begun to disappear as he stumbled badly trying to escape his own record on fundamental issues like the sanctity of life. His non-answer to Rick Warren in the Saddleback Forum was more revealing for what he didn’t say than what he said. He did what many far left liberals do when it comes time to discuss the life issue—he changed the topic. He said that answers to such questions either scientifically or theologically were “above his pay grade.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mr. Obama, most people earning far below YOUR pay grade know enough science to realize that when 23 chromosomes from a female and 23 from a male unite in the moment of conception, a life containing 46 unique chromosomes is created. For all the talk from liberals as to how they follow science and therefore end up with their positions on global warming and evolution, they seem to claim utter ignorance of one of science’s irrefutable facts---what kind of life is created at conception.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here’s the clear “science:”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When the male sperm and female egg join, a new and unique life form is created. At conception. Not at birth or viability, or when a lawyer says so. At conception this happens. John McCain got it right; Obama pled less scientific knowledge than a 5th grader.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This life is either human or something else. Science irrefutably would declare that the life which is starting from that moment is human. It’s not a stalk of broccoli, it’s not a parrot, squirrel, or dolphin. It will never become a tree—it can only become a human. It has the entire DNA schedule that it will have for the rest of its life right then. In days it will begin to take on increasingly observable human characteristics and form, but at conception, it is biologically human.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If this life is human, then the only issue left is whether this human life falls under the notion that it has a fundamental right of existence or not. If not, it is because we as a culture have decided that some human lives are simply not worth living. If we can decide that about an innocent and unborn baby, we can also decide it on the basis of less absolute criteria than that. If we make that choice (and this is all about “CHOICE,” isn’t it?) then someone may decide that a terminally ill person is not a life worth living. Maybe a severely disabled child is a life not worth living; what about a person with a limited IQ? Say that’s absurd—that an educated and enlightened society would never be so audacious as to begin to terminate life based on such arbitrary excuses? Maybe you haven’t studied Nazi Germany, in which the murder of six million Jews was justified because of their religion and millions of others were murdered because of their politics. Germany was not a primitive, superstitious culture. It was one filled with the intelligentsia and enlightened.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is an important issue. It’s why we can’t trust Obama with America’s future because he’s not even sure which Americans are worth saving and which ones aren’t. And it’s why that for many of us, McCain’s selection of a running mate really does matter. Because John McCain clearly is pro life, I will support and vote for him because Obama is not an option for me as a pro life person. I will be disappointed if McCain doesn’t pick a true pro life person and realize that should that happen, he will lose many of the very people who supported me. I cannot expect all of you to vote for McCain if he chooses someone whose record isn’t pro life. It will be a less than perfect decision for all of us---our only real choices are McCain and Obama; one will protect life and one won’t. Some will argue for a 3rd party candidate and I respect that, but in political realities, that is essentially a vote for Obama and I can’t go there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I want lower taxes, less government, more local control, less spending, greater accountability for tax dollars, a strong national defense, and less government regulation. But above all, I want a government who respects life—mine, yours, and that of people I don’t know and even those I don’t like. A government that decides that an unborn baby isn’t worth anything may one day decide that about me. Or you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This election shouldn't be about taxes. GOP Govs also gave us Abortion in 1967. And now Christians are supposed to believe that we need to stay faithful to the Party but how can we trust them. Although Senator McCain has voted Pro-life during his career, he has said he'll overturn President Bush's ban on Federal funding of Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Many on the Christian Right view this as bad as abortion and are still waiting to see if he'll choose a Social conservative as his running mate to help him mellow out on some of these exploitation issues, before we decide on jumping aboard his campaign. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Regarding Abortion, the stupidity of killing 1/3 of a generation of our children who would have continued to fund our Social Security System, and replace them with non-Tax paying foreign workers who send money home to their foreign families, will show up in the next few years as our SS system collapses with too many old people. The survivors of the Abortion Holocaust will most likely begin Euthanising us, the aging population who will no longer be productive, since we've already taught them how to kill. What were we thinking? &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Leaders like Governor Mike Huckabee are some of the few who understand the longterm financial disaster this genocide will cause and had signed a Right To Life Amendment into Law in his State. As we all tried to cope with the terrible tragedy that took place on that day, we began to realize that our world had changed forever and the war on terror has been ongoing since. This battle has taken us to countries all over the world, from Afghanistan to Iraq to the mountainous regions of Pakistan to Yemen to the remote islands of the Philippines and many other places. It's become clear to all of us that we are in a long-term struggle and that our very survival depends on winning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a doctor and a Senator I have had an opportunity that few people ever have - to see how helping the poorest and most needy third world countries can actually help us win the global war on terror. Nowhere is this more evident than it is in Africa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Africa is home to many of the world's poorest countries -- states in crisis-- and it is in these countries and regions that we find Al Qaeda and other equally dangerous groups sending representatives to recruit and train. We must get ahead of this deadly growing web of evil by standing firm in Africa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Former Secretary of State Colin Powell recognized this when he said "The United States cannot win the war on terrorism unless we confront the social and political roots of poverty." He is right. In Africa, it is into regions wracked by drought, extreme poverty and crippling diseases that we have seen the spreading influence of Al Qaeda. In places like Sudan, Somalia and Eritrea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can stop them and it can be done with the help of the healing hands of doctors and nurses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since 1998 I have made annual medical mission trips to Africa and have seen first hand how the efforts of the United States government and the American people can and do make a difference.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the past, American foreign aid was distributed without any consideration for how it would be used. As a result the United States wasted much of the foreign aid we gave to Africa. That has changed. In 2003, when I was the Majority Leader of the United States Senate, we passed a bill creating the Millennium Challenge Corporation. The purpose of MCC is to help the United States reduce global poverty through economic growth. MCC represents a fundamentally different way of giving American development aid to the world's most deserving nations. Providing accountability and generating real results on the ground in these countries is critical. We focus on simple but crucial efforts like providing mosquito netting to prevent the spread of malaria and empowering volunteer groups to deliver the aid and life-saving resources directly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have said many times people don't go to war with someone who has just saved the life of their child. That is an important thing for all of us to remember.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is why when I speak to my former colleagues in Washington, I urge them to look ahead and see Africa for what it can be with our help: developing prosperous nations and friends of America.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This past weekend, Mike Huckabee joined me, Senator Daschle, Cindy McCain and a number of other individuals in Africa to learn more about the good work that is being done there by American charities such as Samaritan's Purse, our doctors and nurses and the American taxpayers who have poured billions of dollars into programs to combat the spread of HIV/Aids. I was very pleased that Mike was able to be a part of this leadership team. We need more American leaders to recognize the importance of our work in Africa on a humanitarian level and a national security level. He answered by saying, 'Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.' You could have heard a pin drop. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying "Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intend to do, bomb them?" A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: 'Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day,they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?' You could have heard a pin drop. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S. , English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?" Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied "Maybe it's because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German." You could have heard a pin drop. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE... Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane. At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on. "You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically. Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously. "Then you should know enough to have your passport ready." The American said, ''The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it." "Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival in France !'"The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchman to show a passport to." Our tax on income for the highest earners takes half of what we earn. All of these costs, as well as the cost of complying with a code that no one understands, become embedded in the cost of our goods and services pricing us out of global markets. This is very well understood overseas. In a recent visit to Ireland, Neal Boortz, the co-author of two books on the FairTax, was told by an Irish gentleman that the Irish are scared to death that we will go to the FairTax. He explained that their economic “miracle” came as a direct result of our crushing taxes on capital and labor. Very simply, American companies relocated to Ireland because their tax code was much friendlier to business.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since 1998 I have advocated for the FairTax. A simple bill--in fact, a mere 132 pages long--that will abolish all Federal income taxes, including personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, corporate, payroll, and self-employment taxes, and replace them with one simple, visible, personal consumption tax. The FairTax taxes what we take out of society rather than what we put into it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Every household will get cash distribution at the beginning of each month that will be based on the size of the household and will allow that household to buy its essentials untaxed. Beyond that we are all voluntary taxpayers paying taxes when we choose as much as we choose by how we choose to spend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our nation has coped with this tax code for 95 years and it has failed. Our tax code has driven $2 trillion into the underground economy costing us about $50 billion in tax collections. Our tax code has driven $12 trillion into offshore financial centers that should be parked in our markets and banks. We are spending between $400 and $500 billion each year just complying with the code. That is like paying for a dead horse. We get nothing for that expenditure but a headache.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Getting rid of the IRS fixes everything. Keeping it in place and nibbling around the edges of the current system fixes nothing. As former Secretary of the Treasury told me, “You have just proposed the largest magnet for capital and jobs in history.” Why wouldn’t we want the United States to be the outsource destination for jobs? Why wouldn’t we want our nation to be the world’s safest and most stable tax haven? So putting an end to the killing should be the prime objective. Most Americans still don’t get it, even Christians and that’s why Abortion is still going on for 41years (1967 in some States). How many good Church going Christians, people like Senator Obama, believe they can follow Jesus, but it’s OK to pass laws plunging sharp instruments into a squirming baby’s brain to collapse the skull at delivery. They used to have a name for this, “Murder”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Although here in California as everyone knows, a major battle is going on, the issue of Same Sex marriage is shaking up many ordinary citizens. Yes, there are churches and synagogues endorsing these covenants, but the majority of churches are still opposed. The hardest thing for us is that since 2000, when California voters passed a Measure that marriage should be between a man and woman only by 61%, lobbyists have been busy getting legislation passed indoctrinating our school children. These bills were signed by both a Democratic and our current Republican Governor. Many of these children are now adults who can vote. Last year a ban on using the words, “Father and Mother” in school books was successfully signed into law. We’ve gone over the edge of sanity.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;The irony of it all, is that just as same sex couples were coming from all over to be wed here in California, Lightning Bolts started hitting the ground. Over 8000 hits already from freak lightning storms with no rain and 1400 fires are now blazing at the same time using up our precious water, polluting our air, displacing people and wild life, destroying everything Green our legislators and environmentalist are working on, and our fire fighters can’t put them out fast enough. This came immediately after the Gov. had declared a State of Emergency drought condition. One can’t help but be reminded of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah as Abraham saw the smoke from the destruction at a distance &lt;em&gt;(Genesis 19).&lt;/em&gt; Is there a chance God is talking here, hello? Recently before this, words of prophecies have been circulating among Church groups that California is going to face much more catastrophy and to be prepared.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But with all the bad news, we do have some good, and even though many Californians are resistant to speak up against homosexual marriage, the Sacramento Bee Newspaper reported, “McCain backs initiative barring gay marriage in California”. And you can’t help but have a sense of admiration for this man in having the courage to take an unpopular Media stand on such a hot topic that even our Republican Governor Arnold has completely flip flopped on. So yes, I agree we must take a stand on this issue. But in the process, he taught his 2 sons and 4 daughters how to use them, safely and respectfully. When we moved to Sacramento, California, murder was a rarity and very seldom someone would be a victim of an accidental shooting. But today living in the city, we often hear gun shots at night from my home. The death rate from murders in California alone, may run neck and neck with the soldiers we’ve lost in Iraq. Yet it’s usually addressed as gang violence. In the last couple of years, I’ve personally known 6 families who have lost members and each one was unarmed and innocent. Last year a 5 month old infant was shot dead point blank along with his father. The Sheriffs Dept. claims, there’s one gun shot wound for every day of the year. Often the police don’t catch the shooters. Who are they and where are the guns coming from? We can be sure most of them aren’t responsible citizens with a gun license. It’s highly probable that these guns come in through our borders, along with the millions of pounds of illegal drugs and illegal terrorists that have already hit our city streets, training our youth in our Tax-funded terrorist camps, our prisons. Then they go out and play target practice on human lives. There used to be traditions that fathers would teach their sons, the use and respect of weapons and many homes remained safe because criminals knew that the people inside were armed and trained. Perhaps gun safety and respect for defense, is something that needs to be taught American youth again, or they may learn from those bent on killing. These acts bring confusion and shame, rarely reported, and forced many into a direction they probably wouldn’t have chosen to build their lives. By acceptance and promotion of homosexuality through same-sex Marriage, our society sends more confusion to youth that molestation is acceptable, crossing boundaries we’ve not gone before. Taxpayers spent billions on homosexually spread diseases where AIDS began, Syphilis, etc.  The physical trauma this practice causes the human body leads to shorter lifespans, and emotionally adds to higher suicide rates. People may believe marriage is key to fix this, but its real purpose is a contract between a man and woman to insure the inheritance of future generations.  Up until 30-40 years ago, Western culture as laid out by Jesus, had no grounds for divorce except adultery, which was also viewed as harmful to families and also causes STD’s.  The Bible says that the punishment for certain forms of sexual immorality is death, and we can certainly see that play out through today’s reproductive diseases.  Often future generations pay the penalty, such as is the case with incest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Lord is God and he cannot lie. And it made me wonder where people think principles came from, like do they just grow on trees or were they bred into us through our ancestors the apes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So let's see, if we look at demographics scientifically using the process of elimination, we can compare countries that have historically honored the Bible and the ones that haven't.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yes to the Bible&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;United States&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;Canada&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;Great Britain&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;Western Europe&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;Australia/New Zealand&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;Israel &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No Bible or a Mix of Religions&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;South America&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Mexico&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Africa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Middle East &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Eastern Europe&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Asia&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;Far East&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now which of these countries share the principles these people are talking about. And which of these countries enjoy freedom and prosperity among the majority of their people. And which of these countries is everyone trying to live in. So before we get rid of the Bible, why don't we visit countries that already have and see if we'd like to live there, before we become like them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Proverbs 1:22 "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;If fools think principles come by evolution, than why doesn't the entire world have them. Let's get real, stop fooling yourselves. We all need to read the Bible instead of listening to know-it-alls inventing their own theories. The principles in the Bible started 6000 years ago and have shaped our entire civilization. The contrast can be clearly seen in nations who follow them and those who follow their own variety. But then on the following Presidential election I heard a Pastor on TV say, "if you are a Christian you cannot vote for someone who believes in aborting babies". This really upset me and I began to seek the Lord and ask Him how He felt about this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well when you ask God a question, be prepared for an answer. I heard a stern voice rumble through my very being that asked, "Who are you to be their judge, jury and executioner?".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It shook me up badly, because I knew that was right and it had to be God. So from that day forward I began to research those who made and kept Laws allowing the death of babies and those who did not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To my surprise, almost all of the Democratic choices were basing their Election victories on the right to kill children.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I had to see it for what is was and I have learned that the Pastor was right. When we vote for leaders who have the power to keep this death machine going, we become accessories to murder, and will be held accountable along with them when each one of us faces our Maker.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And in this natural life, the Laws of Nature and of God, are always that we reap what we sow. It's no wonder, that our society, is so filled with sickness, disease and broken families. And no matter how much we pray, it won't help us, until we stop the killing, because our hands are full of innocent blood.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Choose LIFE so that you and your children will live. This isn’t just a military problem, when you search out the statistics on suicide in your local communities you will be amazed at the epidemic among mostly young men.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course the Media, is trying to link it with the horrors of war, but many young people today are raised fatherless, abandoned, broken homes, violence, rape, molestation, addictions, gangs, life for our young can be war zone. Even those from more affluent lifestyles, are living in psychological warfare with all the negative messages imposed on them through media and peer pressure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Up until forty years ago, Christianity taught people that suicide and murder were major sins, which would cost a soul their salvation landing them an eternity in Hell. Whether that’s true or not, only God can read the real motives of a person’s heart and is worthy to judge on Salvation. But this believe certainly made life a precious commodity and kept suicide and murder rates very low.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since then, our youth have been mentally bombarded to forsake God, and accept the belief that their ancestors were apes. And when they die they’ll evaporate, or come back as dogs or worse yet, fleas. So, with a twisted idea of a god or no god, they have been taught that they don’t need to be accountable to anyone for anything, which has been shown them through the ruthless slaughter of their siblings and peers.&lt;br /&gt;In addition with the precept of believing the falsehood, “Love is never having to say you’re sorry” (Yeah right, try that one on family or friends!), many who profess Christianity today have the notion that they can sin all they want, and the blood of Jesus shed for them, will continuously cleanse them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But having to carry around the heaviness of the guilt of their actions, not knowing how to be set free, the Church has been grossly remiss in telling people that all they have to do is ask for forgiveness and Jesus to come into one’s heart without on going discipleship.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can see that these same lives have not given up on the sin human souls crave. There is no salvation without repentance and that can only be measured by a transformed life, otherwise to keep on honoring the sin is still denying the Lord.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the person, believing he or she is saved, but not seeing it in their life, would be sure to cause them extreme anxiety and depression. In essence, Christians who say Jesus is Lord, but still feel that their own blood is the only way to peace, not accepting the Blood of Jesus, the atoning Lamb, really don’t understand the message of salvation at all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The other unfortunate part of suicide is squandering the very gifts that the Lord has planted in each human being to fulfill our destinies and calling to build His Kingdom.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the issue of casualties of war, every year American cities and communities lose tens of thousands of lives, again mostly young men, in targeted murders. Often we call these gang wars, but more often innocent people die, and terrorism involving our own young men (and illegals) trained in our Tax funded Prison systems, armed with drug money has created an internal unnamed war throughout our Nation that we have been blind to see. Every year the losses here in the US in murders and suicide are much higher than the losses we reap in the targeted wars of Iraq and Afghanistan. But it’s only discussed in a whisper and as acceptable as traffic accidents. With no government entity bringing in a solution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The best thing that's happened today, is the advent of the Internet, where ordinary people can share truths that Syndicated Media has controlled for so many years. My Father fought with the allied forces during WWII, he and many in my mothers family were held as POW's for many years. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;A few years after, my parents immigrated to the U.S. where later, three of my siblings have served the US Armed Forces. Finally my son serves in the Army today. My family knows first hand thru FIVE wars, there are always those who want to control others. May 22, 2008&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you for this article. Ever since I heard the news about Senator Ted Kennedy's brain tumor, I have been struggling with anger towards him and all the memories of 1969 came flooding back, like it happened yesterday.&lt;br /&gt;With so many people coming out and saying what a great man and leader TK was, my anger only worsened.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;In 1969 I was only 16 years old, but that year and this incident set the stage for what I believe began a rising tide of battery against women. And we as women got to see first hand that there was no protection for us. People everywhere witnessed a famous leader who didn't take accountability and was allowed to walk away from the scene of an accident, leaving a young woman to die without facing jail time, taking away hope for the rest of us ordinary people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;And I believe it led to years of silence, with many females of our generation being physically abused and even killed, most not reporting anything because very little was done about it, until the OJ Simpson case. It took a Black man accused of murdering his White ex-wife to bring sexual battery out in the open again and for women to feel safe enough to report violence against their oppressors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;The even bigger slap in the face for American women with the TK case didn't stop with him walking. It kept going. Soon after he won an Election, and later even ran for President. One of his major positions and acheivements that he has lobbied hard throughout his career for was killing babies, Abortion. He campaigned tirelessly as a hero to women, to have the freedom to wipe out all evidence of illicit relationships. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;(When Legislatures finally made an attempt to stop the cruel method of death used on 3rd term babies between 6-9 months with a Ban on Partial Birth Abortion, Senator Kennedy and others voted against it. It's ironic, that he as one of America's most influential leaders, who doesn't see a problem with having babies killed with a sharp instrument thrust into their brains, is now suffering from a brain tumor. The Bible and the Laws of Nature reveal that we reap what we sow.)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;If this young lady had been pregnant, it would have been convenient had Abortion been legal then, instead of in 1973. Whatever the case was, I hadn't realized the anger and hurt I've been harboring all these years against someone I don't even know, except through the News. And yesterday I felt that I was the only one, until I read your article. And now I realize there must be millions of us who feel that way, women and men alike, and we need healing from these old wounds of authoritative betrayal, because those who gave TK a free pass were equally guilty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;I am a practicing Christian, and know that Jesus tells me to forgive, but I found it extremely hard to do so when Senator Kennedy hasn't asked for forgiveness. But now that these old wounds are being brought to the surface, I believe that we as a Nation can let that process begin to happen for healing and the first step is to talk about the reality of the crime and the pain. And with you doing so, my hope is that Senator Kennedy and the others involved will seek and find forgiveness and healing from this as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you for going against the grain and sharing your heart. This Supreme Court decision brought an end to a legal battle that has carried on for two and a half years. The applicants were represented by Yuval Grayevsky and Calev Myers from the offices of Yehuda Raveh &amp;amp; Co., and their legal costs were subsidized by the Jerusalem Institute of Justice. All twelve of the applicants were denied citizenship solely based on grounds that they belong to the Messianic Jewish community. Most of them received letters stating that they would not receive citizenship because they "commit missionary activity". One of the applicants was told by a clerk at the Ministry of Interior that because she "committed missionary activity", she is "acting against the interests of the State of Israel and against the Jewish people". These allegations are not only untrue, but they also do not constitute legal grounds to deny one's right to immigrate to Israel. This important victory paves the way for persons who have Jewish ancestry on their father's side to immigrate to Israel freely, whether or not they belong to the Messianic Jewish community. This is yet another battle won in our war to establish equality in Israel for the Messianic Jewish community just like every other legitimate stream of faith within the Jewish world. Since then several conferences have taken place across the US and the world.&lt;br /&gt;But this was the first time the event was held in Israel, and it came at a significant time in the country's history, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the modern Jewish state.&lt;br /&gt;Lou Engle, who is the visionary and co-founder of The Call, said he once had a casual attitude toward Jerusalem, but during his time here, his perspective shifted. "We're not coming for a tour. We're coming to the very throne," said Engle.&lt;br /&gt;Engle and his group couldn't have come at a better time. The video in the article below made me cry at the huge loss we have endured. Even though I have known these things and have spent many years informing people about the value of each human life as you Sir, have also. I am more than grateful it’s finally being exposed.&lt;br /&gt;Collectively, we as Americans are all guilty and should know better than to cut up or burn alive human beings in the safety of a womb or anywhere else. Only insane or unintelligent animals kill their young.&lt;br /&gt;I have talked to many, even Christians, who believe its right to kill an unwanted child, especially those conceived out of rape or incest. But the Bible says, a child should not die for his fathers sins. 2Kings 14:6, 2Chron 25:4, Ezek 18:20&lt;br /&gt;We have allowed the teaching that the most important thing in life is to be sexually attractive and have money to pay for our pleasures. If anyone gets in the way (baby), get rid of them.&lt;br /&gt;Every child is a wanted child. Killing almost 50 million has forced childless Americans to adopt outside the US. It's brought undocumented foreigners to work our jobs and send money to their foreign relatives. Our people who weren’t allowed to be born, would have been doing these same jobs while contributing into our Tax and Social Security system.&lt;br /&gt;Now, after 41 years of legal Abortion (some States began in 1967), there isn’t enough money for many of us to retire in our old age. Most likely the future plans for Population Control activists are already written to program the American people in accepting the wholesale slaughter of our Elderly through Euthanasia, particularly in Minorities. This was what Hitler did.&lt;br /&gt;We the people of the United States of America, need to STOP the AGE discrimination no matter what race. This starts with each one of us to make a difference by keeping the horror of Abortion, tampering with Human Embryos, and Euthanasia on the forefront.&lt;br /&gt;God cannot bless America, while the Blood of the Innocent cries from the ground as did Abel's, when his brother Cain killed him and the land was cursed. And I tried to find out why. Why is it like that, when those in the West have so many more things than those in the East? And the answer was: "Because there is no one in the family to receive them." Our children depend on us for everything - their health, their nutrition, their security, their coming to know and love God. For all of this, they look to us with trust, hope and expectation. But often father and mother are so busy they have no time for their children, or perhaps they are not even married or have given up on their marriage. So the children go to the streets and get involved in drugs or other things. We are talking of love of the child which is where love and peace must begin. These are the things that break peace.&lt;br /&gt;But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself.&lt;br /&gt;And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even His life to love us. So, the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans, or her free time, to respect the life of her child. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts.&lt;br /&gt;By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems.&lt;br /&gt;And, by abortion, the father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world. That father is likely to put other women into the same trouble. So abortion just leads to more abortion.&lt;br /&gt;Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.&lt;br /&gt;Many people are very, very concerned with the children of India, with the children of Africa where quite a few die of hunger, and so on. Many people are also concerned about all the violence in this great country of the United States. These concerns are very good. But often these same people are not concerned with the millions who are being killed by the deliberate decision of their own mothers. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today - abortion which brings people to such blindness.&lt;br /&gt;And for this I appeal in India and I appeal everywhere - "Let us bring the child back." The child is God's gift to the family. Each child is created in the special image and likeness of God for greater things - to love and to be loved. In this year of the family we must bring the child back to the center of our care and concern. This is the only way that our world can survive because our children are the only hope for the future. As older people are called to God, only their children can take their places.&lt;br /&gt;But what does God say to us? He says: "Even if a mother could forget her child, I will not forget you. I have carved you in the palm of my hand." We are carved in the palm of His hand; that unborn child has been carved in the hand of God from conception and is called by God to love and to be loved, not only now in this life, but forever. God can never forget us.&lt;br /&gt;I will tell you something beautiful. We are fighting abortion by adoption - by care of the mother and adoption for her baby. We have saved thousands of lives. We have sent word to the clinics, to the hospitals and police stations: "Please don't destroy the child; we will take the child." So we always have someone tell the mothers in trouble: "Come, we will take care of you, we will get a home for your child." And we have a tremendous demand from couples who cannot have a child - but I never give a child to a couple who have done something not to have a child. Jesus said. "Anyone who receives a child in my name, receives me." By adopting a child, these couples receive Jesus but, by aborting a child, a couple refuses to receive Jesus.&lt;br /&gt;Please don't kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted and to give that child to a married couple who will love the child and be loved by the child.&lt;br /&gt;From our children's home in Calcutta alone, we have saved over 3000 children from abortion. These children have brought such love and joy to their adopting parents and have grown up so full of love and joy.&lt;br /&gt;I know that couples have to plan their family and for that there is natural family planning.&lt;br /&gt;The way to plan the family is natural family planning, not contraception.&lt;br /&gt;In destroying the power of giving life, through contraception, a husband or wife is doing something to self. This turns the attention to self and so it destroys the gift of love in him or her. In loving, the husband and wife must turn the attention to each other as happens in natural family planning, and not to self, as happens in contraception. Once that living love is destroyed by contraception, abortion follows very easily.&lt;br /&gt;I also know that there are great problems in the world - that many spouses do not love each other enough to practice natural family planning. We cannot solve all the problems in the world, but let us never bring in the worst problem of all, and that is to destroy love. And this is what happens when we tell people to practice contraception and abortion.&lt;br /&gt;The poor are very great people. They can teach us so many beautiful things. Once one of them came to thank us for teaching her natural family planning and said: "You people who have practiced chastity, you are the best people to teach us natural family planning because it is nothing more than self-control out of love for each other." And what this poor person said is very true. These poor people maybe have nothing to eat, maybe they have not a home to live in, but they can still be great people when they are spiritually rich.&lt;br /&gt;When I pick up a person from the street, hungry, I give him a plate of rice, a piece of bread. But a person who is shut out, who feels unwanted, unloved, terrified, the person who has been thrown out of society - that spiritual poverty is much harder to overcome. A 4.1-magnitude earthquake was felt earlier this week in parts of Israel.&lt;br /&gt;Magen David Adom emergency medical services said that no injuries were reported. Friday’s earthquake shook open a large hole on the Temple Mount plaza, near the Dome of the Rock. Al-Aqsa mosque officials belonging to the Islamic Movement’s Northern Branch covered the hole with wooden planks following afternoon prayers. The officials, who also said the quake caused cracks in several local residential buildings, said the hole was a meter deep, two meters long and meter and a half wide.&lt;br /&gt;“The Islamic Movement blamed Israel for the hole, saying Israel is digging tunnels in the area that undermine the stability in the area of the Al-Aqsa mosque. He is the 16th teenager arrested in connection with a Sacramento homicide since the beginning of last year, records show.&lt;br /&gt;Camacho's alleged victims were 18 and 22, authorities said. A third man, the 18-year-old brother of one of the victims, was shot in the neck but is expected to survive, according to police.&lt;br /&gt;Many of the shootings from last year resulted from gang warfare, which sparked intense local and federal gang crackdowns throughout Sacramento.&lt;br /&gt;Last year, 27 people who were 21 or younger were shot to death in Sacramento County, the highest number for that age group in any of the past 10 years, according to records compiled by the Sacramento coroner's office and local law enforcement agencies.&lt;br /&gt;That number represents the sixth straight year in which the number of young gunshot victims stayed the same or increased, and is more than twice the number in that age group killed by gunfire in 2001.&lt;br /&gt;For teens, the numbers were even more alarming. Of the 13 teenage homicide victims in the county last year, 12 were shot to death, records show. Gangs or drugs played a role in at least half of those killings, detectives said.&lt;br /&gt;The average age of a suspect arrested in connection with killing a teenager in 2007 was 18.4, records show.&lt;br /&gt;"It's a nightmare for a patrol officer that every time you stop a 15- or 16-year-old you think they may have a gun," said former Sacramento Police Chief Albert Nájera, who retired earlier this month.&lt;br /&gt;"The single most dangerous person out there is not a hardened parolee, is not a guy who just got out of Pelican Bay (State Prison). It's that 16-year-old male out there who has a gun because they're not calculating at all.
