Hooray on the Supreme Court Decision to Uphold Citizen Rights to Bear Arms

My father who had fought in WWII owned rifles he would use for deer hunting. But in the process, he taught his 2 sons and 4 daughters how to use them, safely and respectfully. When we moved to Sacramento, California, murder was a rarity and very seldom someone would be a victim of an accidental shooting. But today living in the city, we often hear gun shots at night from my home. The death rate from murders in California alone, may run neck and neck with the soldiers we’ve lost in Iraq. Yet it’s usually addressed as gang violence. In the last couple of years, I’ve personally known 6 families who have lost members and each one was unarmed and innocent. Last year a 5 month old infant was shot dead point blank along with his father. The Sheriffs Dept. claims, there’s one gun shot wound for every day of the year. Often the police don’t catch the shooters. Who are they and where are the guns coming from? We can be sure most of them aren’t responsible citizens with a gun license. It’s highly probable that these guns come in through our borders, along with the millions of pounds of illegal drugs and illegal terrorists that have already hit our city streets, training our youth in our Tax-funded terrorist camps, our prisons. Then they go out and play target practice on human lives. There used to be traditions that fathers would teach their sons, the use and respect of weapons and many homes remained safe because criminals knew that the people inside were armed and trained. Perhaps gun safety and respect for defense, is something that needs to be taught American youth again, or they may learn from those bent on killing. I also commend the Supreme Court for taking the right step in their decision to uphold our 2nd Amendment Constitutional right for self defense.

Is Same Sex Marriage Healthy?

Through the years I’ve had a chance to talk to many homosexual men and the reality is that all but one admitted to being molested, sodomized, even gang raped when young. These acts bring confusion and shame, rarely reported, and forced many into a direction they probably wouldn’t have chosen to build their lives. By acceptance and promotion of homosexuality through same-sex Marriage, our society sends more confusion to youth that molestation is acceptable, crossing boundaries we’ve not gone before. Taxpayers spent billions on homosexually spread diseases where AIDS began, Syphilis, etc. The physical trauma this practice causes the human body leads to shorter lifespans, and emotionally adds to higher suicide rates. People may believe marriage is key to fix this, but its real purpose is a contract between a man and woman to insure the inheritance of future generations. Up until 30-40 years ago, Western culture as laid out by Jesus, had no grounds for divorce except adultery, which was also viewed as harmful to families and also causes STD’s. The Bible says that the punishment for certain forms of sexual immorality is death, and we can certainly see that play out through today’s reproductive diseases. Often future generations pay the penalty, such as is the case with incest.

The Lord is God and he cannot lie. We can fool ourselves but his universal laws are still in place.

Prov. 6:27 Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
Amos 5:14 Seek good and not evil, that you may live; So the LORD God of hosts will be with you.

Who Needs the Bible Anyway?

Recently I read a comment, that someone liked a leaders Christian principles but couldn't handle the Bible stuff. And it made me wonder where people think principles came from, like do they just grow on trees or were they bred into us through our ancestors the apes.

So let's see, if we look at demographics scientifically using the process of elimination, we can compare countries that have historically honored the Bible and the ones that haven't.

Yes to the Bible
United States
Canada
Great Britain
Western Europe
Australia/New Zealand
Israel

No Bible or a Mix of Religions
South America
Mexico
Africa
Middle East
Eastern Europe
Asia
Far East

Now which of these countries share the principles these people are talking about. And which of these countries enjoy freedom and prosperity among the majority of their people. And which of these countries is everyone trying to live in. So before we get rid of the Bible, why don't we visit countries that already have and see if we'd like to live there, before we become like them.

Proverbs 1:22 "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

If fools think principles come by evolution, than why doesn't the entire world have them. Let's get real, stop fooling yourselves. We all need to read the Bible instead of listening to know-it-alls inventing their own theories. The principles in the Bible started 6000 years ago and have shaped our entire civilization. The contrast can be clearly seen in nations who follow them and those who follow their own variety. Let's not remove the boundaries our forefathers had placed.
Proverbs 22:28
