Finally Someone with COMMON SENSE!!! by Olga Hermann

In Response To California's Senate Republican leader Dave Cogdill:

We have the largest prison system in the world filled with healthy people who used to pay their debt to society, now we're paying them. Contract them out for cheap labor to learn skills, and make the State a profit.

How did California's poor teachers, constantly griping for more money afford to have their Union give $1 Million of taxpayer money against Prop 8. And they just built a huge new building in Sacramento for their retirement fund, while our kids are falling behind and out.

Combine lawmakers, stop them from continually passing non-essential bills out of boredom, costing more to implement. How much did it cost to bring a no spanking bill to the floor?

Consolidate and send jobs back to the private sector where they belong to allow healthy competition and innovation. A government of Free Enterprise of the People, by the People and for the People should be regulators only, not the largest Welfare Corporation in the world.

Some of you keep bashing Republican ideas, but Union supported Democrats have ruled this State since Pete Wilson.

California's social government is like a big family farm that simply exists to tell the family how to live. Some of the kids work in it and Dad provides for their every need, others get paid for doing nothing. But others work outside on crop producing farms and give a portion of their income to Dad so he can expand the unproductive farm.

If Dad's farm made a profit, everyone would benefit, but Dad keeps giving raises, adding more family for unproductive causes, and pays for it all by taking from those working on profitable farms. Some of them become rich farmers themselves and run away from Dad's pick pocket reach, leaving others to pay more until they're all tapped out.

Best fix is to send more family members to get real jobs with producing farms, to stop Dad's spending. Bottom Line..Cut big Government! Dad is like Pac Man, eating everything in sight.
